Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements.
Initiation of purchase after searching and selecting suppliers on market and Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure the best deal.
Monitoring and tracking orders to validate items and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in economics, procurement, Business management, logistics and supply chain management or a similar field preferred.
At least 4 years of relevant experience in procurement officer and related positions.
Exceptional negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Ethiopian single window (ESW), electronic government procurement (eGP), and other platforms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
Supervisory and management experience.
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail.
Excellent task and time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional demeanor and strong work ethics.
