Job Description

• Classify goods according to the Harmonized System (HS) and applicable tariff schedules.

• Prepare and process all necessary customs documentation, including import/export declarations, certificates of origin, and other required permits.

• Ensure compliance with all customs laws and regulations.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to arrange for the timely clearance and transit of goods.

• Inspect shipments, particularly machine parts, to verify accuracy and compliance with documentation.

• Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions.

• Stay up-to-date on changes in customs regulations and procedures.

• Communicate effectively with customs officials and other stakeholders.
