Under the guidance of the HR & Admin Lead, s/he will develop, maintain and implement effective recruitment/sourcing strategy and procedures and provide timely and accurate information and advice.
S/he offers appropriate and effective guidance and assistance to managers and function leads regarding recruitment best practice.
Assist line managers in designing and developing job descriptions, person specifications and conduct job evaluations to attune each job with the job family.
Under the guidance of the HR and Admin Lead, s/he ensures the overall recruitment and selection process is conducted within the agreed time frame for each open position and ensures hiring managers are provided with continuous updates regarding open vacancies.
Prepare employment offers and agreements are accurate and are produced within the agreed time frames.
Monitor and integrate gender diversity targets into every recruitment process to ensure gender equality is maintained.
Drive and manage the development and implementation of the performance management policies and procedures.
Provides advice and assistance to managers to ensure that high performance is recognized and poor performance timely addressed.
Review and improve existing performance management systems.
Seeks appropriate advice on performance management issues as and when required.
Motivate staff under his/her supervision and build team spirit for effective working relationships.
Ensure that staff under his/her supervision properly plan and organize their tasks.
Ensure that job objectives are set, performances are evaluated timely and with the required quality.
Facilitate and support the staff development under his/her supervision, including nurturing and coaching on specific issues.
Use internal and external networks to locate and reach out ideal candidates and also best HR practices for organizational learning.
Work together with other HR teams to establish a recognizable “employer of choice” reputation for the organization, both internally and externally.
Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
Prepare comprehensive bimonthly and quarterly reports on key result areas in relation to the post.
Assist the Lead, HR and Admin in the preparation of the annual HR report.
Prepare reports of field visits conducted if any.
Provide Support on New Initiatives and Strategic engagement.
Support the HR and Admin Lead in identifying and recommending new HR initiatives to enhance HR practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with PSI/E's overall business objectives.
Assist in the development and updating of HR policies, procedures and processes.
Perform other special projects as assigned.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management or related fields with six (6) years of demonstrated experience. Or
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience.
Proficient in MS office applications and tools.
Proficient in English and Amharic languages, both written and verbal communication.
