Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of customs documents for accuracy and compliance with Ethiopian customs regulations.
Advise clients on customs procedures, documentation requirements, and potential risks.
Identify and resolve customs-related issues and challenges.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
Liaise with customs authorities to resolve any outstanding issues.
Provide support and guidance to junior staff members.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of customs compliance processes.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Economics, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of direct work experience as a Senior Assessor in a reputable Logistics and Freight Forwarding Company.
In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian customs procedures, regulations, and the freight forwarding industry.
Proven experience in customs document evaluations/assessments.
