Understanding and analyzing EIH’s procurement needs.
Categorizing the plan based on the acquiring/ purchasing system.
Gathering of quotation/proforma.
Bid document preparation.
Analyze Bids based on the set technical specifications and ToR.
Documentation of all procurement documents, contracts.
Prepares weekly reports related to his tasks and assignments.
Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts.
Manage deliveries to confirm compliance with contracts.
Performs other duties assigned by his/her immediate supervisor.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or a similar field of study.
Proven experience as a Procurement Expert.
Knowledge of Ethiopian Government Procurement Policy.
Good understanding of procurement procedures, policies, and processes.
Excellent knowledge of MS. Office and familiarity with relevant IT software .
Required Skills
Excellent organizing abilities.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Fluency in English and Amharic is required.
