Develop and prepare high-quality bids, proposals, and tender documents for consultancy projects.
Work with senior consultants and business development teams to understand client needs, project scope, and requirements.
Conduct market research to understand client industries and tailor proposals to meet specific requirements.
Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets as part of the proposal process.
Ensure compliance with all contractual terms, conditions, and quality standards in bid preparation.
Manage and oversee the delivery of consultancy projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (local and international) to ensure smooth project execution.
Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any issues or concerns during the project lifecycle.
Monitor project progress, track key deliverables, and adjust project plans as necessary to meet changing client needs.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and client communications.
Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.
Present complex data, analysis, and project updates in a clear, engaging, and professional manner.
Create visual aids, such as charts, graphs, and slide decks, to effectively communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations.
Tailor presentations to suit the audience, ensuring clarity and relevance to client needs and business objectives.
Participate in client meetings and workshops, presenting project proposals, reports, or updates as required.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
Provide expert advice and support to clients, helping them achieve their business objectives.
Identify opportunities for follow-up work or new projects with existing clients.
Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with client expectations.
Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and status updates for senior management and clients.
Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, identify areas for improvement, and implement lessons learned.
Support the business development team in identifying new opportunities and contributing to the growth of the consultancy practice.
Participate in networking events, conferences, and client meetings to build the firm’s reputation and brand.
Education and Experience
PhD/Masters Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, Economics, Computer Science.
Minimum of 2-3 Years of Experience in Consultancy Project Management, or bid preparation, preferably in the Construction Sector.
Professional Certification such as PMP, Prince2 is an advantage.
Required Skills
Excellent Report Writing Skills in English and Amharic.
Ability to mobilize, lead and work with different groups.
