Job Description
Develop and maintain standard costing models for products, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Build cost sheets for imported items, considering factors such as duties, taxes, and freight costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of operational decisions, providing cost-related analysis.
Participate in the forecasting process, contributing cost-related input and analysis.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual stock reports, analyzing inventory levels and costs.
Analyze cost variances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in the implementation of cost-reduction initiatives.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
Job Requirement
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing business.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Peach tree accounting software.
Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Understanding of financial accounting principles.
