We are seeking a talented Human Resource Officer to join our team and play a vital role in all aspects of our employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient HR experience for our employees.
Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting job descriptions and advertising open positions
Source and screen potential candidates
Conduct interviews and participate in the selection process
Onboard new hires and get them acclimated to the company culture
Maintain employee records and handle administrative tasks
Process payroll and ensure timely compensation
Manage benefits administration
Advise employees on policies and procedures
Conduct performance reviews
Resolve employee grievances and maintain a positive work environment
Coordinate training and development programs
Stay updated on employment laws and regulations
Ensure the organization is compliant with labor laws
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Oversee health and safety protocols
Manage employee leave and absence
Assist with the provision of staff identification cards, business cards, mobile telephone scratch cards (monthly), and other facilities
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an HR role.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Proficient in written and spoken Amharic and English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in HR software.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information
