Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing team. You will play a key role in designing and analyzing complex structural systems for a variety of building projects, ensuring their safety, stability, and adherence to building codes and regulations. You will collaborate closely with architects, other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative and cost-effective structural solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough structural analysis of diverse building projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, or other designated areas.

• Develop and document comprehensive structural design drawings, plans, and specifications using advanced engineering software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000).

• Perform complex calculations to determine loads, stresses, deflections, and other structural behaviors.

• Select appropriate building materials and construction methods based on project requirements and feasibility.

• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure design integration and constructability.

• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and other documentation for clients and regulatory authorities.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest codes, standards, and best practices in structural engineering.

• Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent.

• Participate in project meetings and presentations to discuss design approaches and solutions.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the engineering department.
