Responsibilities:
Schedules all logistics moves.
Takes the lead role in all large or complicated moves
Manages the truck driver appointment process for delivery.
Responsible for major event setups on site.
Inspect the site before the process to know how much material and manpower is needed.
Supervise the packing/unpacking and loading/unloading team on site.
Schedules time for setups and moves and assigns duties to the setup team
Demonstrates leadership in the area of safety.
Supervises drivers with leadership and communication and develops teamwork among the Operations Team.
Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace by setting a good example to others by ensuring compliance with the health and safety responsibilities set out in the Health and Safety Management System.
Meets with team members to provide input on event setups or large moves to minimize issues.
Conducts staff performance reviews.
Complies, analyzes, and maintains statistical data/reports of the truck driver operations, including but not limited to timekeeping, attendance and absence management, safety and regulatory training and compliance, staff performance, and professional development.
Ensures appropriate scheduling to meet the service and delivery needs of the site.
Set daily delivery schedules for the truck drivers to provide reliable and efficient delivery of a load on-site.
Commits to positive interactions with all customers and provides the appropriate level of assistance regardless of situation or location
Ensures that all customer inquiries are handled in a professional, timely manner; and in case customers should be redirected to other staff, the incumbent will ensure the redirection is complete and that the customer is not left without service
Approves storage requests and returns back to the property.
Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
Proven experience in logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse group of drivers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and transportation.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards in logistics and transportation
