We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Office Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the successful execution of our projects by providing technical expertise and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review technical documents, including drawings, calculations, and reports.
Coordinate with other engineers on project development, schedules, and budgets.
Manage project documentation, including records of meetings, site instructions, and change orders.
Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project specifications.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Assist with project close-out activities, including resolution of potential claims.
Prepare and submit project proposals, bids, and estimates.
Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project progress.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
Identify and implement cost-saving measures and value engineering solutions.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Technical Office Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
